Overview
Scalar generates API documentation, SDKs, MCP servers and an API client from an OpenAPI document and keeps them in sync as the API changes. Docs are written in Markdown and MDX with two-way Git sync, alongside references generated from OpenAPI and AsyncAPI. The API client is MIT-licensed, offline-first and runs on web, macOS, Linux and Windows.
