Overview

Outline is a team knowledge base and wiki for internal documentation, specs and meeting notes. Documents are written in a markdown editor with slash commands and embeds, edited in realtime, and controlled by read and write permissions, groups and guest access. Search covers the workspace, AI answers questions about documents, and it runs hosted or on your own server.

Best for
Teams of up to 200 people wanting an internal wiki they can host themselves or run in the cloud
Pricing
Cloud plans are $10/month for 1–10 members, $79/month for 11–100 and $249/month for 101–200 after a 30-day free trial, with annual pricing available but not priced on the page.
