Overview

SurfSense is an open-source alternative to NotebookLM for research on the open web. It pulls live data from Reddit, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Indeed, Google Maps, Google Search, Amazon and Walmart through 10 platform-native REST connectors, used from the app, an API key or an MCP server. Results feed a workspace with cited briefs, a knowledge base and scheduled agents.
