Overview

Synara is a free, open-source desktop app that brings coding agent runtimes — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Antigravity, Grok, Kilo Code, Pi and Droid — into one local workspace. It runs parallel sessions, terminals, browser previews, diffs and Git worktrees side by side, connects directly to each provider with your existing login, and files pull requests from the same window.

Best for
Developers running several coding agents locally who want one workspace for parallel work
Pricing
Described on the site as free and open source; no prices or paid plans are shown, and you supply your own provider subscriptions.
Runs on
macOSSelf-hosted

Strengths and trade-offs

Strengths

  • Use existing provider plans; no extra subscription required
  • Runs locally; no Synara account or cloud storage of your work
  • Git worktrees, diffs and one-click PRs in the same window
  • Open source, telemetry off by default

Trade-offs

  • Homepage offers a macOS download only
  • Each agent runtime must be installed and signed in separately
  • Phone access is self-hosted over your own network, not provided
  • No models included — provider plans are still paid separately
