Overview

Rivet actors are durable, stateful processes that keep state in memory next to compute, run indefinitely and sleep when idle. They run inside an existing Node.js, Bun or Deno backend, with WebSockets, workflows, queues and scheduling included. agentOS adds a Wasm-isolated file system, shell and Python for agents; deploy self-hosted, in a VPC or on Rivet Cloud.
