Overview
MDMA extends Markdown with interactive components written as short YAML inside fenced mdma blocks, so an LLM returns forms, tables, charts and approval gates instead of prose or JSON. Four core packages parse, validate, run and render the document, with renderers for React, Vue 3 and React Native. A deterministic validator runs first, and an LLM fixer repairs what it cannot auto-fix.
- Best for
- Developers building LLM-driven interfaces in React, Vue or React Native who need validated UI output.
- Pricing
- No prices are shown; the framework is described as open source and installed as npm packages.

- CLI
Strengths and trade-offs
Strengths
- One document renders in React, Vue 3 and React Native
- Static validator, 17 lint rules and 6 auto-fixes, runs without an LLM
- Open source, 12 published npm packages and published model weights
- Benchmark publishes all 1107 raw generations for re-scoring
Trade-offs
- Ten fixed component types; anything else needs a host-registered custom type
- The system prompt costs 5,910 tokens on every request
- Renderers are limited to React, Vue 3 and React Native
- The cross-format benchmark is designed, run and published by the vendor
