Overview

LiveKit is an open source framework and cloud platform for building voice, video and physical AI agents. A user speaks via app, browser or phone, the speech is streamed to an agent running your own code, and the agent replies in realtime. LiveKit Inference provides LLM, STT and TTS models behind one API key, while LiveKit Cloud handles deployment, scaling and observability.

Best for
Developer teams building voice, video or robotics AI agents that need realtime infrastructure
Pricing
Free Build tier, then Ship from $50/month and Scale from $500/month, with per-minute usage charges on top (a sample voice agent is costed at $0.0672/min) and custom Enterprise pricing.
Runs on
macOSWindowsSelf-hostedCLI
