Overview
Insomnia is Kong's API development platform for designing, debugging, testing and mocking APIs over HTTP, REST, GraphQL, gRPC, SOAP, WebSockets and Socket.IO. Collections, specs and tests can be kept in local storage, in a Git repository, or in the cloud with optional end-to-end encryption. The Inso CLI validates specs in pipelines, and a native MCP client tests MCP servers.
