Overview

Grepture is an open-source AI gateway that sits on the request path between an application and LLM providers. A TypeScript SDK wraps clients such as OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini, so calls are proxied for PII redaction, threat blocking and rule enforcement while traces, eval scores and token costs are recorded. Infrastructure runs in the EU and the gateway can be self-hosted.

Best for
Teams shipping LLM features who need EU-hosted tracing, evals and PII redaction on the request path
Pricing
Free for 1,000 requests/month, then $49/mo for 100,000 requests and $279/mo for 1,000,000 (both shown billed annually), with overage at $10 and $6 per 100K requests and a contact-sales Custom plan.

WebSelf-hosted

Strengths and trade-offs

Strengths

  • Gateway source is on GitHub, with a self-host option
  • All infrastructure and subprocessors are EU-hosted
  • Free tier of 1,000 requests/month, no card required
  • Priced on request volume, with no per-seat fees

Trade-offs

  • Zero-data mode and prompt injection detection need the $279/mo Business plan
  • Free plan is capped at 7-day retention, 1 team member and 3 rules
  • Traffic above the included request volume is billed as overage
  • Sits on the request path, so the proxy becomes a runtime dependency
