Overview

Bruno is an open-source API client for REST, GraphQL, gRPC and WebSocket requests. Collections are stored as plain-text files on your filesystem using the OpenCollection YAML format, so they can be branched, diffed, reviewed and merged in Git alongside the code they belong to. There is no cloud sync, account or login, and it runs in the desktop app, VS Code and the terminal.

Best for
Development teams who want API collections version-controlled in Git rather than synced to a vendor cloud.
Pricing
Open-source tier is free; Pro is $6 per user/month and Ultimate $11 per user/month, both billed annually, with a 14-day Ultimate trial and a contact-sales option.
Runs on
macOSWindowsSelf-hostedCLI
