Overview

VMware Workstation Pro is a desktop hypervisor for Windows and Linux PCs that runs virtual machines locally on the same hypervisor technology as vSphere. It supports hundreds of guest operating systems, DirectX 11 and OpenGL graphics, containers and Kubernetes clusters, and configurable IPv4 and IPv6 virtual networks. It can also connect to remote vSphere or ESX servers.
