Overview
Penpot is an open-source design platform for UI design, prototyping and design systems, hosted by Penpot or self-hosted. It covers wireframes, interactive prototypes, CSS Grid and Flex layouts, components, design tokens and shared libraries, with multiplayer editing and comments. A code inspector exposes CSS, HTML, SVG and JSON, and an MCP server is listed for AI agent workflows.
