Overview
OPNsense is an open source firewall and routing platform built on FreeBSD 15.1. It offers a stateful IPv4/IPv6 firewall, multi-WAN with load balancing and failover, VPN via IPsec, OpenVPN, Tinc and WireGuard, and inline intrusion prevention using Suricata with Emerging Threats Open rules. Reporting uses RRD graphs and NetFlow analysis.
