Overview

NetBird is a WireGuard-based overlay network and Zero Trust Network Access platform. It connects users and resources directly rather than through VPN gateways, so no firewall configuration is needed, and access is controlled by groups provisioned from an identity provider plus granular policies. It runs on Linux, Windows, macOS, mobile, Docker and routers, as cloud or self-hosted.

Best for
IT and engineering teams replacing legacy VPNs with identity-based access across cloud and on-prem
Pricing
Free for up to 5 users, then €6 per user/month (Team) or €12 per user/month (Business), with custom Enterprise pricing and extra machines at €0.50/month.
