Overview

Mermaid is an open-source library for creating diagrams and charts from text and code, with a live editor, docs and a list of integrations. A commercial platform is built on top of it, adding stored diagrams, teams and projects, AI credits and collaboration. Paid plans add co-editing, external sharing, viewer seats and SSO.

Best for: Teams who write diagrams as text and want shared editing on top of the open-source Mermaid library.
Pricing: Free Basic tier, then $10 per user/month for Plus and $20 per user/month for Premium, both billed annually, with Enterprise priced on request.
