Medusa is an open-source commerce platform with modules for products, inventory, promotions and multi-region selling, plus a customisable admin dashboard. Developers extend it in code and deploy from GitHub to Medusa Cloud, which runs the backend, storefront, Postgres, Redis and caching. Cloud also provides an MCP server, CLI and development agent for agent-driven work.
