Overview
ispmanager is a Linux hosting control panel for configuring Apache, Nginx or OpenLiteSpeed, installing CMSs such as WordPress, Drupal and Joomla, and managing MySQL, MariaDB, Percona or PostgreSQL databases. It also covers mail domains with a Roundcube client, SSL certificates, DNS records, firewalls and backups. The panel and site environments are independent, so sites continue to run if the panel fails.
- Best for
- Linux sysadmins and hosting providers running websites, mail and SSL from one server panel
- Pricing
- Per-server licence in three tiers: lite £61.09/year (£5.09/month), pro £122.28/year (£10.19/month) and host £216.41/year (£18.03/month), with annual payment giving one month free.
Strengths and trade-offs
Strengths
- Runs several PHP, Python and Node.js versions on one server
- Free Let's Encrypt issuance and renewal, plus commercial certs
- Migration from cPanel and Plesk, public API, WHMCS integration
- Sites keep running if the panel itself fails
Trade-offs
- Linux only, and limited to the listed AlmaLinux/Debian/Ubuntu/Rocky releases
- Cloudflare, DDoS-Guard, BitNinja, CloudLinux and SitePro cost extra
- Licensed per server installation, so cost scales with fleet size
- No free tier shown; unlimited websites only on the top host plan
