Overview

The IPFS.io public gateway bridges HTTP and the IPFS protocol: it listens for requests for IPFS content, retrieves that content via IPFS and serves it over HTTP, so any browser can reach public IPFS networks. It runs Rainbow, an implementation of the IPFS HTTP Gateway API, and verifies data against the requested CID before returning it.
