Overview

GanttProject is a free, open-source desktop application for project scheduling with Gantt charts on Windows, macOS and Linux. It works locally and offline: you break down the work, build the chart, assign resources and calculate project costs. It imports and exports Microsoft Project files, exports to CSV, Excel, PDF and PNG, and offers GanttProject Cloud as a separate collaboration server.
