Overview

Formance is a programmable double-entry ledger for fiat and digital assets. Money movements are modelled in Numscript, a transaction DSL, and multi-step payment flows run as durable, event-driven programs across connected PSPs and banks. Ledger balances are compared against provider balances continuously, and history is kept as an append-only, hash-linked log.

Pricing: The core ledger is free under the MIT licence; Enterprise is an annual subscription quoted on scale, with no figures published.
