Overview

EasyMonitor is an open-source, self-hosted uptime monitor. A Laravel app schedules HTTP and ICMP checks onto Redis Streams, Go probe binaries in any region claim them and publish results, and a consumer writes to TimescaleDB and triggers alerts. Cross-probe quorum decides up or down, and the app serves public, unlisted or private status pages.

Best for
Small teams that want to run their own uptime monitoring and status pages on their own servers.
Pricing
No prices are shown: the software is MIT licensed and self-hosted, and the site states there is no per-monitor or per-seat charge.
Runs on
Self-hosted

Strengths and trade-offs

Strengths

  • Unlimited monitors, no per-monitor or per-seat pricing
  • Cross-probe quorum from probes on hosts you own
  • Status pages with custom domains and auto-HTTPS via Caddy
  • MIT licensed, installed with one setup script

Trade-offs

  • Self-hosted only — no hosted option is shown
  • Checks are limited to HTTP and ICMP
  • Remote probes need your own tunnel (Tailscale, Cloudflare or VPN)
  • Pre-1.0 at v0.2.1, and needs a server with ~2 GB RAM
