Overview
Cisco Umbrella is cloud-delivered network security that filters traffic at the DNS layer, blocking malicious domains, IP addresses and cloud applications before a connection is established. It runs on Cisco's global network of recursive DNS resolvers. Cisco is evolving it into Cisco Secure Access, an SSE platform adding secure web gateway, CASB, DLP, firewall as a service and ZTNA.
