Overview
Abby is an open source feature flagging and remote config service with typed SDKs for React, Next.js, Svelte and Angular. Flags, remote config variables and A/B test variants are declared in one typed config, with separate environments per flag and SDK fallbacks to limit downtime. It supports SSR and SSG, ships optional devtools for debugging, and can be self-hosted.
- Best for
- Engineering teams on React, Next.js, Svelte or Angular wanting typed feature flags and remote config
- Pricing
- Free Starter tier, then $12/month per project for Startup and $89/month per project for Pro, with a contact-sales Enterprise plan.
- Runs on
- WebSelf-hosted
Strengths and trade-offs
Strengths

- Open source, with the option to self-host
- SSR and SSG supported out of the box
- Devtools for debugging flags and config; CLI in beta
Trade-offs
- Priced per project, so running several projects multiplies the cost

- A/B tests stay capped at 10 on both paid tiers below Enterprise
- Captured pages give no detail on self-hosting requirements or support
